On November 1, 2011, McDonalds launched their successful Flavor Battle Competition celebrating the artist who spin in the DJ Booth. The competition last from November 1 – January 20, 2012. During this time period the public has the opportunity to log on to www.FlavorBattle.com and vote for their favorite DJ. Disc Jockey’s representing the East Coast, West Coast, and Central Region get to compete for a $10,000 cash prize. Also, while visiting www.FlavorBattle.com, be sure to register to win a chance to attend the finale in Miami on January 20th, a 2 night hotel stay, and $150 spending cash.
On Thursday, November 17th, McDonalds allowed The Kitty Bradshaw, Rae Holliday and Jabari Johnson to host the launch event for this competition at their Times Square restaurant location. Afterwards, we then continued our hosting duties over at Green House in SoHo. Invited guest were privy to McDonalds 3 big burgers, The Big Mac, Double Quarter Pounder, and Angus Third Pounder.
To name a few; guest included Blogger Socialite Christine of Tineey.com, Stylist VVernard, Model/Actress Liris Crosse, Gabe of StuffFlyPeopleLike.com, YouHeardThatNew.com, New York Heart Throb StreetzTalk (lolll), JasFLy (Google Her), Lady and the Tramp (Marcella won the Rap Jingle competition), and of course last year’s Battle Winner, DJ Jayceeoh <—AWESOME (Note: Some of these names were cited from StuffFlyPeopleLike.com… Rae got a way better memory than me lollll)
