NY2LA: John Legend Definitive Technology Launch #AudioFest
March 1st kicked of Best Buy electronics Audio Fest. The festivities got underway with John Legend making an appearance in the West Hollywood Best Buy location last week to launch his collaboration with Definitive Technology. The Kitty Bradshaw was on hand, alongside fellow Best Buy Brand Ambassador Yolanda Machado of SassyMamaInLA.com to show support. During the Definitive Technology event, fans had the opportunity to meet John Legend, fresh off of his Oscar performance. The Grammy Award Winning artist created a special session for VIP Fans, where they were able to ask Legend questions that ranged from future collaborations, and upcoming tour dates.
During the John Legend Definitive Technology launch, a Q&A was hosted by brans rep, Joel Sietsema. Legend revealed during the session that he doesn’t sing very often for his new bride, Chrissy Teigen. Additionally, he went on to say that he prefers not to write for male artist as he often likes the song so much, he ask for it back for his own projects. With female artist the option to do that is not possible.
Back in November of last year, Definitive Technology announced that John Legend would be their first ever Brand Ambassador. Through that partnership, a media campaign called, “This is Sound” was launched that showcases creative campaigns around the brand’s latest product offerings. I will discuss in my next post the products that I had a chance to demo.
