Sixties-Style MAD MEN attire is encouraged, but of course optional. There should be some fun props and ‘scene settings’ to capture the evening with lots of classic photo ops, as The authentic atmosphere of The Madison Club Lounge is the perfect setting for this party, and has been the setting of several Mad Men episodes as a favorite hang-out of the Sterling Cooper men, as well as The Roosevelt Hotel, where Don Draper lived after Betty threw him out.
Prizes for best-dressed male and female guests from: The Roosevelt Hotel, mad46 Rooftop Lounge, The Madison Club Lounge, as well as Mad Men Season 4 on DVD, Two tickets to The Paley Center for Media, The “Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook,” and more.
This party will be a great time, and there is no admission other than it will be limited to 21 and over.

Are there any other Mad Men viewing events you know of in NYC? Is there a list or a cover for this one? What time do the doors open? Thanks!
There is no charge to get in. Also, I don’t know of any other viewing parties for that day.
I am so sorry… I replied immediately and it didn't go through :/
It is free to get in and doors open at 7pm
That party was terrible. The bartenders were clueless, we had to ask them to put the TVs on the right channel and forget about food of any kind. Almost can't blame them for not knowing anything – isn't this the managers job to notify the staff? – but really, they were clueless about the menu and it took forever to get a drink. Oh and they broke a glass in the ice trays and picked out the big pieces but still kept serving it! Total disaster, this party really sucked.
My comment must be approved so I guess it'll never see the light of day. Thank God there are a million other places to start forums about this shitty party and making sure no one hires this "promoter" again. I mean there were people that came all the way from Germany for this! Feel so bad.
Well… I needed time to get home from the party to actually approve your comment. I approve most all comments regardless if they are good or bad as long as its respectful. You have a right to your opinions.
I was not a promoter for this event; nor was I paid to post the event on my site. Aside from the service I had a great time with friends. Our plan was to dress up, take pictures, watch the show with other fans, and have a great time. We got out of it what we came to do.
I am sorry you didn't have equally as good of a time. Maybe another location will suit your needs in the future.
