My next event was the event I co-hosted alongside Cari of BusyBeeBlogger.com! I was only able to stay at the Iconix Event for an hour because I had to go run off to Sephora to get my face made up for the California Dreams event. Our event’s title sponsor was Single Edition Media, whom we had been working alongside with since last October to create this very special event.
Additional sponsors included @AvonPRGals @Sierra_Magazine @DrLoretta @FootPetals and @EssBodyWear !!!! @BusyBeeBlogger and myself wanted to create an event that everyone felt welcomed at. Often times when you go to events, you feel no more important than the ice in your cup. Everyone is cliqued up and you leave feeling alienated or neglected by the host. People often refer to people from California as relaxed and easy-going, so Cari and I decided to take a page from our own book and create a an event around that. Although the name includes California, we wanted Bloggers from all over to come and feel our spirit.
Of course our Blogging Guest where the celebrities at the California Dream’s Event; but a special mention should go to the PR professionals who came out at me and Cari’s request which included Toyota, Avon, LVMH Group, Dr. Loretta LLC, and Viacom to name a few. These professionals worked through the crowd meeting with Bloggers unbeknownst to guest collecting business cards and most importantly observing. Cari and I hope to host future events with these brands.
Also, I would like to thank all the California Bloggers came out and supported us, embraced, surrounded us, lollll. We honestly didn’t expect a lot of California Bloggers to attend. One of the guest said “This is our party” loll. Although there were Bloggers from all over the country at our event..the California Bloggers took it as us throwing a party in their honor, lolll. I never knew it was so many Bay Area Bloggers… like they came and showed full support!!!! Both @BusyBeeBlogger & myself thank everyone who came from the bottom of our hearts. Below are event photos. We hope to see you at next year’s conference 🙂

🙂
Thanks so much for inviting me! It really was a nice event!
it was so great to finally meet you!!! Are you coming to Chicago?
I had am AMAZING time. Awesome event lady!!
I am so glad you had a good time. Thank you so much for coming 🙂
Hey Kitty! Thanks again for inviting me to California Dreams! I had a blast, met some great people, finally found a brand that makes latex free items to make the gorgeous shoes I love more comfy, and enjoyed some cotton candy without having to share with my daughter. It was a great event and I hope to have more opportunities to work/party with you soon!
P.S. Still loving your dress and great statement necklace!
I didn't know they were Latex free… hmm learn something new everyday, lolll. I am sure we will run into each other again… let's keep our fingers crossed that it is sooner than later. 🙂
It's one of those things most people don't ask but at least here in Canada the majority of the cushioning/insole products have at least some latex but due to my allergy I can never use them. Foot Petals special material is completely latex free and they are available here in Canada so that was a major highlight! Allergic reactions on the bottom of the foot especially at a conference or wedding sucks!
And I'm sure we'll cross paths soon…We'll make sure we do. And if you ever need a plus one for fashion week you know where to find me!
