Kitty’s Top 10 Winter Essentials
Berkshire Black Opaque Tights-
Berkshire manufactures the Rose Royce of black tights. These tights last for a good two years if you know how to take care of them… but for those who don’t know how to handle your delicates, they will last you through the winter… (hopefully you will not be break dancing in the streets.)
Dr. Bummers Castle Soap:
Dr. Bummers Castle Soap Almond Scent Soap(Peppermint during the summer) …. buy this at the health food store or online. Now you need soap year round but certain soaps I use certain times of the year.
Wintertime boyfriend-
This is a must have! Now the thing about wintertime boyfriends is they have to be gone come spring. I repeat all wintertime boyfriends expire March 21st. They go bad like milk…

Rainboots-
I don’t know what I would have done without these last winter. I had the little cheaply paisley ones from Payless, but moving forward I am going to invest in some better quality ones for this coming winter.
Lip chap-
lolll as ole girl said from Charm School. I like the cocoa butter chap sticks
Isesotoner Gloves-
with the lambs skin interior. I can’t deal with cheap gloves… your fingertips will fill warm like a mothers love on those below zero days.
Large Purse-
ok ok I carry this year round but I really carry it during winter.
Kitty Say’s: I have had dreams where Terrell Owens and I are walking down the street and he is holding my left arm and I have this purse in my right arm. *sighs* Such a wonderful dream 🙂
Cashmere scarf-
yall know who sells good ones? Banana Republic… I also like their big umbrellas. Good sturdy quality.
Umbrella-eh-eh-
A good quality one! Not those little cheaply ones you buy on the corners. You say you lose them? Trust me when you spend on a good quality umbrella, you will guard it like your wallet.
A nice winters coat-
Ladies please invest in a feminine wool coat for the winter. They looks so much more chic then those big, obnoxious, puffy, trash bag coats. If you get a size bigger, and layer underneath it… they will keep you warm.

Vitamin E oil-
to moisturize the skin. I don’t know about yall, but my skin gets soooo dry in the winter. I put vitamin e oil on my skin everyday.
Cocoa Butter-
This in conjunction with the Almond soap will have you smelling like a chocolate bar 🙂

Isn’t the soap by Dr. Bronner? And I agree, it is probably the best soap in the world, as is Palmer’s cocoa butter the best CB I’ve ever used. Must try the Berkshire brand of tights. Everytime I find a brand I like they get discontinued 🙁 Believe it or not, Walgreen’s brand is also very durable and comfortable.
