I would like to take the time, to give Quentin Tarantino the coveted, Kitty Bradshaw “I refuse to buy your movie on Bootleg Award”! Some movies are so good, you actually don’t want to compromise the integrity of the film by getting a grainy copy with people coming in late into the theater walking in front of the lens. No, when this comes out on DVD I will go to my local Best Buy and purchase a copy.
I sat and watched blood, gutz, killing, OH MY! This movie was Sissy Free… meaning no pretend over saturated, special effects… this was an old school blood and gutz, war action type film.
I give this movie an grade: A+
The cutie of the Movie Award goes to: Eli Roth
(Note: David Dust will be presenting the Award)
Directed by Quentin Tarantino
Produced by Lawrence Bender
Written by Quentin Tarantino
Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson
CAST
Brad Pitt
Mélanie Laurent
Christoph Waltz, Won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor March 7, 2010
Michael Fassbender
Eli Roth
Diane Kruger
Daniel Brühl
Til Schweiger
Since this opening day, I will not give further detail… but I will update this post if I have any further thoughts to share.
In closing I watched a man get a swastika carved into his forehead with a bowie knife… I watched as the brain juice and blood run down his cheek… I watched him scream for mercy as his fingers dug deep into the earth pulling out roots. I felt like the tip of the knife scraped the skull… I squirmed into my seat… but I wanted more! Only then was the audience satisfied. The movie received a standing ovation. RUN don’t walk to see this movie! PERFECTION….

I just loved loved this movie. Its one of those movies you wouldn’t mind seeing again. Brad Pitt did a good job and yes!!! There was something sexy bout Eli Roth’s crazy character.
Thanks for letting us know. I was not expecting it to be an action movie – more people acting jerk-y like Bruno. P.S. character sounds like Stewie Griffin when he wants his money

Great review!! I’m trying to catch it tonight, I enjoyed District 9, I hope this one is just as good.
Thanks for this review!
Big disappointement…kinda boring, to be frank, and way too violent (unlike Pulp Fiction where the violence was less graphic and fit with the scene)
