Mark and James the dynamic duo that comprise Badgley Mischka always the decadent ones, continue to keep the standard that has been for so very long now. Shown to the backdrop of bauble like gems, gown and separate alike came storming down the runway, each piece better then the last. Now when it comes to this rampant floral prints, no one is going to do a floral gown like the overtly romantic Badgley Mischka. Not only was the floral patterns of choice amazing, but the embellishment placed on these garments was astounding.
The peplum separates as well as the peplum dresses with the gold foil overlay was amazing. I also enjoyed viewing the bathing suits. But again it was about being able to purchase or style the separates into other collections. Since the collection can be seen as costly for some, they are investment pieces to all. While you may not be able to have it all, at least a blouse or an accessory can be had.
Fashion forward styling as per the usual brilliance was certainly visible. The bouffant styled hair as well as the lack of overt jewelery styling allowed the clothing to speak for themselves. Badgely Mischka clearly knows the competition is bare minimal but doesn’t allow that to let them slack or rest their laurels on last seasons success. I guess being your only competition mentally is all the only thing necessary when conquering the world that is fashion. Brava Fellas, Brava!
