Congratulations Sukanya Krishnan, AGAIN! Pregnant!
Congratulations to Sukanya Krishnan and her husband Eric Schroeder on their expanding family. Sukanya Krishnan is 5 months pregnant with her 2nd child. She made the announcement yesterday with the help of her young son Kiran during the morning news cast on WPIX. See video below:
As most of you know I am a HUGE fan of WPIX-TV, especially the morning News cast here in New York. Sukanya Krishnan is the lead anchor, and she brings such delight with her Staten Island accent, fashion sense, and opinionated commentary. We here at KittyBradshaw.com are extremely happy for her. In my mind, I am an unofficial member of the Schroeder family, lolll. As you saw in the video, the baby is due in June and I am crossing my fingers, wishing for a healthy baby (girl). Babies are such a blessing!!!!

Sukanya Krishna BIO
Three time Emmy Award winning anchor and reporter, Sukanya Krishnan joined PIX11 Morning News in August 2001as a reporter. After proving herself in the field, she took on a new challenge as host of Home Delivery, a nationally syndicated show for NBC/Universal. But the world of news beckoned, and Krishnan returned to Channel 11 in 2004, as the first South Asian anchor in local morning news in the number one market.
Krishnan has won numerous community service awards, including honors from the NYPD and the NJ State and Local Police Departments, as well as many others from Indian American organizations for representing South Asians in the media.
Her Emmy awards include a 2002 recognition for her coverage as a live reporter on 9-11, and back-to-back Emmys in 2005 and 2006 for On-Camera Achievement (NEWS) Anchor/Host.
