This post is for the wonderful team who helped me put this event together. The previous post was to disclose all the sponsors who donated physical items to the event. I just want to say I could not have done this event with out the following people working behind the scenes.
John was the first person to come on board with this event. He didn’t once think I was crazy when I told him about the vision in my head to have my event in a showroom. He has been a strong supporter from day one and I love him to death for it. He has led the way for negotiations, while I just sat there and looked cute, lolll. As talented as he is as a writer, he is just as great as a PR profssional.
Santrise is an excellent technical writer. She’s also an excellent negotiator…. so much so she can do it from her comfy penthouse in Chicago. When you know your worth… go to Santrise. When you want your event to be at a certain level on down to the contact last detail, you cantact Santrise. This is the 2nd year in a row Santrise has went above and beyond to assist me with my event. I couldn’t imagine planning an event without her.
Irene assist me not only with my events, but making sure I make appearances at the other people’s events. Her advice is priceless.
Shani say’s, “What can I do to help?” Her proactive spirit reminds me of an well oiled machine. She is very efficient in what she does. She is very official when it comes to events in New York City. There are so many people claiming to be in PR in the city, but can’t produce… Shani is about results. When you are looking for PR in the city, Shani is one of the few with a proven track record.
Lonnie created the greatest invitation the world has ever seen. Click on the invite for his website. I am truly appreciative for the work he has done.
I have to thank the ladies at APART one more time. They went above and beyond to ensure this event went off right. I can not thank them enough.
Below are thepeople who supported me throught his event. I love them to death!

So, last week December 2-3rd, the notorious John Simon and I participated in a NYC Scavenger Hunt sponsored by Smart Box.
Each Smartbox™ offers activities within different themes. In each of these packages, Smartbox™ has selected unique activities, charming destinations and quality Spas and institutes. Each Smartbox™ is all-inclusive: you won’t have anything else to pay on site (but your travel)! What a perfect gift!
On December 2nd, Smart Box held a swanky cocktail party ((with open bar)) to kick off the Scavenger Hunt festivities. OOoooWWWwwww
The next morning, December 3rd, we had to be at the Empire State Bldg at 9am!!!!! I don’t know anyone but the devil up at 9am *faints*. I stumbled in w/ my morning “mad I’m out of bed in rush hour transit traffic” attitude…
Smart Box provided a grand breakfast … the breakfast was on point!!! I felt like the little abused child from “The Little Princess” when the neighbor snuck her breakfast in bed…
So, John and I had breakfast on top of the Empire State Bldg….(no champagne, but that’s ok they can improve next year, lolll). I love John!!! He let me sip my coffee and adjust my attitude, lolll. He understands I am not sociable before 10am
SO anyways… The Kitty Bradshaw is HIGHLY competitive….especially in her Gap Jeans… I WILL NOT LOSE!!!!! SO we get our scavenger hunt on…
1st Answer was at the Salsa Lounge…. we had to complete a task once we got to the actual destination. The Kitty Bradshaw went from Rhianna to Debbie Allen in an hour and a half’s time. Carmen, the dance instructor turned me into a Salsa Champ!!!!
In addition, I briefly got partnered with Gervais… the sexy french daddy from Canada… Smart Box was SMART for bringing him to the festivities!!! OooooWWWwww
So anyways, we completed our task and hit the ground running. We left the Salsa Lounge and headed to Lexington Ave for this high-end Flower Shop
We get to the Flower Shop and they provided the tastiest damn lunch ever!!!
We had Lobster, Fillet Mignon, Quiché, Truffles, Candy Yams, and Mac n Cheese.. for desert some type of French Jello Pudding… *shrugs* they called it mousse I called it Jello Pudding…. either way it was tasty! lolll
SO our next task was to create a flag out of flowers. Our team ended up with the hardest one.. The British Flag!!! We completed our task with flying colors.
After we completed our flower arrangement it was time to complete our final task… did I tell yall Smart Box provided car service??!!!
We were speeding down the street to our final destination playing this on the stereo…
So our final destination was Ripley’s Believe it or Not….. and of course mid-day traffic was off the damn hook!!!!!
We get out of the car and start running in traffic down 42nd street…
The final task was to answer questions based on Ripley’s Museum… clues were all over the place.
So to sum up a very long story OUR TEAM WON!!!!!!!!! WE WON A VACATION!!!!!! OOOoooWWWWwwww
We get to pick where we want to go….. there were 3 members on our team and each of us can bring 1 person
the Kitty Bradshaw is bringing her best friend Mike….
So I called up Mike jumping and screaming on the phone…. hmm I must really love Mike… I picked him over my man lolll
Kitty Bradshaw in her Gap jean…
So John Simon and I are gonna coordinate so we can take our vacation together… hopefully our new sex blogger friend Shoshi comes too! loll
To end things… Smart Box hosted a grand finale cocktail party. They served champagne, cheese, and fruit. John and I stayed near the champagne bottle…. we stayed until the bottle found a bottom lolllll
Thank you so much Smart Box for being a gracious host!
