What to Wear to an All White Party

Clockwise: Raquel Clutch, $29.99 (Nine West); Coiled Snake Ring, $4.00 (Charlotte Russe); Ball Gown Pearl Necklace, $198 (Henri Bendel); McCorkle Sandal, $55 (Aldo); Zip Trim Strapless Romper, $109 (bebe); Strapless Drape Blouson Dress, $128 (White House Black Market)

Diddy may have declared that it’s time for a new hue to be the theme of his annual 4th of July party, but that doesn’t mean you have to. Independence Day is just around the corner, and undoubtedly someone, somewhere, is hosting an all white party and you need to find something to wear.

White blazers, LWD’s (little white dresses) and rompers are three popular summer fashion trends. Choose any of these three pieces as the main part of your all white outfit. Then, illuminate the snow colored ensemble with a metallic bag or shoe and bold jewelry. A chunky necklace or cocktail ring should do the trick.

Since white fabrics are usually very sheer, make sure you have a pair of nude or flesh toned underwear to wear beneath your all white ensemble. I beg you, save the leopard print panties for another day!

Crazy I just did a blog entry on this like 2 weeks ago. I'm loving those grey shoes at the bottom.

Where was this article when I attended I magazine white party a while back? I came in white with black accents (shoes and belt). Now looking, silver and nude are much more flattering
