WAMU, where are You?

Back when I wasn’t working I had a few over draft fee’s here and there to make it do what it do… and I say this to say Washington Mutual has made so much money off of me they could have erected a statue of me in my honor in front of one of their branches . I was the reason the lights stayed on. A whopping $33.50 per “Misguided Transaction” (that my term for bounced check, loll)

In any event I have grown more mature when it comes to money and have been making cautious purchases… so *shrugs* maybe that’s why they went out of business. However, I can’t help but be a little upset at them for going bankrupt. Yesterday, I logged on to find out I am now a Chase customer… but I am not sure I want to be with Chase. Picking the “right” bank is very important, and I am going to weigh my options between financial institutions. Hell I don’t know why I am yapping… I belong to like 3 different banks… *sighs* but Washington Mutual was my favorite. We had a love hate relationship going.

*sighs* My bank broke up with me….

  1. You know what, you’re right.

With the fees that WAMU charged, they should not have been hurting.

What annoyed me about them is that I had more than one account with them and they would not link them. I’m like the money is there what is your problem.

    CRAZY.

Unfortunately, Chase might be worse. Their fees were outrageous, that’s why I was at WAMU.

    :-(

I feel you… I loved WAMU as well, I also thought they were doing good. They were like the first bank to offer totally free checking (maybe thats one reason they’re outta biz!)
