Warning: The people in the above image are actors. The real people that go to this club are below:

My girl Nish suggested we go to this club. Now me being a newbie to NYC, I had no clue it was a spot my grandmother had she been around could of hung out at. I’m not hating on old people. *Shrugs* If yall want to still hang out more power to you. Depsite everything I had a good time last night. I haven’t shook my head so much in amazaement in one day in my life.
I am at a loss for words… Nish, I know you reading this and umm…. I am not sure if I can ever look at you the same for taking me somewhere like this.
*sigh* I am done blogging on this activity center for seniors.

LMAO!!!!!!!! This is so true, although I’ve never been, I’ve heard about it and I also heard its the ‘big girls club’ too… I did hear that the reggae room is cool though (well the music is)… If you’re looking for a caribbean spot, I heard about a new place in DUMBO (Bklyn) called Club Toro- David Levy mentioned it a few weeks ago, it’s brand new.
A great after work spot on Thursdays is Nest (28th st. btwn 7th & 8th aves), the music is great- good mix of new & old school, reggae, even soca… I haven’t been in awhile, but it’s $5 to get in and the food buffet is free! They usually have Papa John’s pizza and chicken wings.
