Today, Barbra Streisand, appeared on Oprah (Oh God, I need a Job so that I can stop watching Oprah, loll) and during the show the Barbra Streisand Barbie was unveiled.

First off, you all know I love Barbie… but I am really a Barbra Streisand fan!  As a little girl I would watch Funny Girl and crack up.  Barbra Streisand and Sophia Lauren helped mold my personality.  Barbra taught me to be true to yourself, and embrace your flaws.  I sooo love that Mattel gave the doll an accurate nose, loll.

I don’t think Barbara liked the final doll very much… she stated:

“Now… I worked on this doll very hard, the slit was, the slit was in the back, it had to go on the side… actually the hair is a little too sliver and the bow is a little too short, but it’s ok.”

Welp, whether she likes the doll or not it comes out the day before my birthday, November 19th.  Check out the doll here

Random Fact: Streisand was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.  When I first moved to New York, I lived in Williamsburg for my first year…  Barbara and I are practically sisters, lolll.

We need to end this post with a song…

Sea in Williamsburg

Ok, so Sea Thai Restaurant has made me a believer that if you leave Manhattan and venture into another borough… you find really cute, well designed, delicious, and inexpensive restaurants. Sea was sooooooooo good!  Even better then the food… the design of the place is spectacular!  Its a across between a air plane/ backyard meets futuristic…. it was visually stimulating!  I loved it!!!  Everyone kept saying going into the bathroom… I went in and it felt like a air plane/ spaceship complete with TV.  You come out of your hutch/ toilet and the sink is a like a shared water fountain at a park… it is so interesting!

If you are at Sea… even if you don’t have to go to the bathroom you should go anyway just to see what its like! lolll
