"I knew I belonged to the public and to the world, not because I was talented or even beautiful, but because I had never belonged to anything or anyone else." -- Marilyn Monroe

Last Wednesday, September 1st, Spring Shoes made its début in New York City by hosting local media during their grand opening.  Guest, which included some of the cast from Gossip Girl, were treated to two complimentary pairs of shoes, spirits, and fingers foods… while listening to DJ Reach spin.  Spring Shoes Store (which is the sister company of Aldo Shoes), also gave guest a clutch bag upon exiting!

Spring Shoes PR Director, Effie Giannou was there, as well as store managers from their Queens location to assist guest.

1. Grey’s Papaya- Gosh I don’t even like Hot Dog’s but Grey’s gets me every time!  I like to get 2 dogs and a Banana Daiquiri Smoothie and life is good at that point!

7. $10 Purses-  I, Kitty Bradshaw, am a Purse Whore!!!!!  I have loved purses ever since I was toddler and realized the importance of a good bag.  From high end to unknown… from pricey to $10 Sample Purses…. my only rule is I don’t buy Fake Designer purses! I like the feeling of owning an original, not an impostor.

8. I love taking the train… it is the most interesting thing of my day.  Plenty of Native New Yorkers hate it… but *shrugs* nothing could be better in my world.  The only time I get annoyed is if I am underground for more then an hour going somewhere like “Flatbush or Queens” in those instances I pass on the trip, lolll. I also will not take the train to the airport.  Which leads to my next point…

9. Car Service to the Airport- LOVE IT!  It is the most relaxing thing… I tried the Super Shuttle on my last trip to Chicago but realized it was just like taking the bus… so on my way back I kindly hopped into a town car from Newark and was able to unwind on the way back into the city.  The car had a TV and heated seats… what more could I ask for?!

10. Street Fairs/ Vendors-  They always have the most inexpensive handmade/homemade goods.  I got a pair of Amethyst Drop Earrings from the last one for $5.  The food is always good…. the bigger the street fair the better the experience.  Check out the listings for all the NYC street Fairs here.
