New York Cablevision, FAIL
It’s 12:01am in New York, March 7, 2010… where are your ABC channels?! 3 million Cablevision viewers in the New York area lost access to ABC because Cablevision and ABC failed to come to an agreement over the small sum of $40 million dollars. According to ABC, Cablevision earned close to $8 billion last year… and feel the cable company is not paying their fair share. Both companies published press releases, blaming each other for being complete idiots. Now, countless people have to scramble to find a place to watch tv on one of the biggest nights of the year, The Oscars! Remember when basic television used to be free?! Now, greed has ruined what some turn to for temporary escape. I say, Cablevision customers should use this time to reflect on whats important. This is a recession, why not save money and eliminate cable all together?!
*shrugs* Time to pick up a book, lollll.
