Showtime At the Apollo

Last Wednesday I went to the Apollo for Amateur Night. It was entertaining in a senior citizen/ kid friendly way. My biggest thing is… I pictured it to be a lot bigger then what it actually was. I remember as a child watching it and thinking how nerve-racking it would be to stand on that big stage in front of all those people with the chance of getting Booed.

I respect the Apollo for what it is… a glimpse into musical history and for that I don’t regret going. I think everyone should go there at least once.

Wow, I would have loved to have been able to see Miles Davis perform.

Wow. It is funny how things seem so much bigger when you are a kid. Just your being there was soFAB! Thanks for sharing.
