Red Lobster, Never AGAIN!

I went on a date with my old man last night and we went to the movies and to “The Red Lobster”… first I was never a “The Red Lobster” fan back home… but I had heard a rumor that “The Red Lobster” taste better on the East coast. So Mr. Enormous and I take a ride on the A train to 42nd street.
I got some type of platter with scallops, shrimp, and pasta. I ate about 25% of the meal and took the rest home. I woke up around 2am cramping in my stomach, feeling very uncomfortable…. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to hurl or do the #2. Neither seemed to be happening…alll I know is there was a “Rumble in the Jungle” and I was sooo miserable. Mind yall I had to get up in a few hours to be at work.
Thank God for Perrier and Tumbs… I was finally able to up chuck all of “The Red Lobster” in the “Porcelain God” later on in the morning. I am really pissed that I am sick to that point for something other then a hangover. Without given yall the gory details I didn’t count on seeing the shrimp, scallops, and pasta again after they went down. *sighs*
I am sooo over talking about this….

Hmm… The cheddar biscuits are *almost* worth the stomach trouble. They are sinfully good!
Red Lobster is a gamble. I’ve never had a bad experience, but my friend (who only orders the cajun chicken pasta) had one once. BUt .. that pic is of the Seaside Shrimp Trio, NOTHING scallops on it. (I know cuz I get it whenever I make it there, LOL).
That wasn’t my actual plate, just a picture I found on the web.. however I did order the platter, I substituted the shrimp scampi for scallops.
I actually went to that same Red Lobster 4 the first time a few months ago and the food was great.
However, I eat seafood as well as Sushi on a pretty regular basis. Maybe your bodys not used to it, or there was neglect in the preparation of your meal(something unsanitary).
Not a pleasant thought and while Im thinking about it I dont think Ill go back 2 that 1 again. You should have reported it-cause then they will upgrade their standards knowing someone or ppl have gotten sick. Not speaking up will just create more victims.
