This month, select GapKids stores in stores in across the country will host Shine On Saturdays events.  DIY Blogger Merrilee Liddiard of Mer Mag will host a series of arts and crafts sessions around the country for kids to take part in.  From creating geometric masterpieces on canvas using paint and tape to colorful, custom journals to get kids ready for back-to-school, the projects help kids express their creativity!

Gap appears to have given Merrilee Liddiard creative control with designing kid friendly projects that were inspired by the GapKids and babyGap fall collection.  Alot of inspiration was drawn from the 1969 denim - Jewel Box Skinnies for girls (the new skinny jean updated in bright stretchy denim) and Action Stretch Denim for boys (designed for play all day- it’s denim that’s made to move).  I love how the GAP continuously works to incorporate Bloggers in their campaigns.  I support brands, who genuinely support the Blogging community.  As you all know, I was a GAP Brand Ambassador or 2 years.  I fully support the GAP in all its campaigns.
