Want to be down with the “In” Crowd?

“In” Crowd Policy:

I’ve been receiving quite a bit of request to be apart of my “In” Crowd, and although I appreciate the interest I feel the need to put in place a policy.
First, let me say that my overall theme for the “In” Crowd is QUALITY over Quantity.  My webpage is a business! I am not interested in having a million sites lined up on the side of my page to make me appear more popular then what I really am.  This actually goes goes against all the blogger networking rules… but *shrugs* I want my page to become successful organically and not because I swapped links with a bunch of people I don’t know and/or pages I don’t care for.  If that’s what you are about then just add me to your myspace page.
If you read through my site you notice that I quite often incorporate the members of my “In” Crowd  onto my post and they in turn do the same for me.  We do that because we all share like interest and we enjoy reading each others page.  We support one another.  You can be apart of that to if you meet the following guidelines…

I will only add sites that are:

1. Part of a brand.. meaning you own your site/domain name
2. Updated on a weekly basis
3. Your page has a purpose.
4. Your page looks professional and/or tailored to your overall theme.
5. P13 (No Porn Sites!!!!)
6. Are not Celebrity Gossip Sites

Now, if you look under the current “In” Crowd list you see that a couple of the pages listed fall outside of my policy.  The reason being either it’s something about their page that I like or I know them personally.  Yea, I know, nepotism is a bitch lolll!!!!  They twisted my arm and told me they would beat me up in a dark alley if I didn’t add them…. but eventually everyone currently on my list will have sites that fit into the policy.

Now, please don’t let this discourage you from adding me to your Blog Roll.  If you like my site then add me without expecting something in return.  I have a couple of people on my “In” Crowd who don’t have me on their pages. *shrugs* It is what it is… no hard feelings but that doesn’t stop me from going to their pages and finding enjoyment.

Lastly, if you find that you don’t fall into the above categories but wish to get there and need advice/help…. hit me up on the side and I will tell you why it’s important to brand yourself and how you can make money doing what your already doing for free… Or you can just add me to your Myspace page and call it a day! loll
