Kitty Bradshaw’s Gift Guide 2012: Nordstrom

Written by Kitty Bradshaw and posted in Tags: , , , , Uncategorized

Hey House Cats-

Tonight’s featured retailer is Nordstrom, the focus of our gift guide.  I have been shopping at Nordstrom since before I could remember.  When I think of Nordstrom, I think quality and exceptional customer service. I have never had a bad experience, or a mediocre one for that matter at their department store. Below, I focused on shoes, and 1 men’s dinner jacket.  Nordstrom also boast their on line of shoes called, GLINT.  I purchased 2 pairs recently, and have included a picture of one of the pairs below.

Lastly, if none of the shoes below strike your fancy, feel free to explore gift cards as an option.  One thing I like about Nordstrom gift cards is you can purchase them online and they can be used both online or in their store.  I was amazed at how I was able to pull up the gift card on my phone and have the cashier scan the barcode at the register.  This is one of the best retailers for gift carding.

COACH ‘Andrea’ Sandal

This is the first time I have ever liked a pair of COACH shoes.  They are always so tacky and over the top with their “C’s”.  Depending on the comfort level, I might purchase these.  I think these are pretty amazing and recommend them for the designer divas on your list.  Clink the link for more information and pricing.

Vince Camuto ‘Lexis’ Pump

I purchased a pair of Vince Camuto booties during Fashion Week.  They are extremely comfortable.  The above heels are extremely feminine.  The silver detailing give them a bit of edge.  I would wear these while shopping with the girls.

Steven by Steve Madden ‘Astrro’ Peep Toe Pump

Clocking in 5 1/2 inches, these high stems will provide extra support and comfort with the platform bottoms, and ankle support.  I have never owned a pair of Steve Madden shoes, but decided to include them to represent the lower price points.  This particular pair comes in several colors and patterns.  I chose the Cheetah PONY since animal prints are the current trend.

Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Faraone’ Cap Toe Oxford

Since there are quite a few male supporters of KittyBradshaw.com, I am trying to incorporate more male items.  Also, in most cases women do the shopping for men… so here a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo oxfords at the recommendation of GQ magazine.  To be completely honest… I am no good at picking out menswear.  I hope you like my choices.

Gant Rugger ‘Black Watch Tux’ One Button Blazer

I love, Love, LOVE this dinner jacket for it’s unique pattern.  Also, it gives you a good excuse to break out your flamboyant bowtie lollll.
