I would like to take this time to shout all the women who have the hardest time finding boots that fit over their calfs.

What most companies fail to realize is just because a women has a wider calf, it doesn’t mean she is plus size.  Any woman that works out  is going to naturally have a wider calf.  Let’s also consider the tall women such as myself… I am 5’10… my portions aren’t going to be on the same scale as someone who is 5’6.  If you are bigger then Paris Hilton, you of course have a bigger calf.  I haven’t purchased a pair of boots in years.  The only boots that fit are my Hunter Rain Boots.

Nordstroms says:  Wide calf (15 ½” or more)
Boots with laces, buckles or stretchy uppers are excellent choices for wider calves. Many boots have elastic goring that stretches to provide additional calf circumference; if necessary, a shoemaker can insert a larger gore panel.

This post is dedicated to the very limited selection of “cute” wide calf boots I have found around the web.

According to Nordstroms, Wide Calf vixens need to find a boot that stretches.  Real leather stretches…  Check out the Jessica Simpson leather boot.  Nordstrom says this boot is Wide Calf Friendly.

I like these.  You can take these to a Shoe repair store and have them add elastic to give you extra room.  The circumference is slightly larger on these boots, so you wont need a lot of additional stretch.
