Fashion Contributor: O So Chic

I once bought 20 pairs of jeans in two months.

My greatest shopping achievement (so far) is scoring a $1350 Dunhill handbag for $135.

I (unintentionally) blocked Anna Wintour’s view during a Fall 2010 Fashion Week presentation. The PR person quickly asked me to move so Anna could, and I quote, “actually SEE the collection.” It was one of the most surreal moments of my life.

My name is Melissa and I’m one of the new Fashion Contributors here at KittyBradshaw.com.

While this is only my second post here on THE Kitty’ Bradshaw’s site, I’ve been blogging for a few years.  I started O So Chic, a New York based fashion, beauty and entertainment blog, with my friend Melanie in March 2008.

Melanie is a blogger moonlighting as a law student and I’m free-spirited girl whose wings are tethered to the 9-5 world. Between the two of us we’ve posted about everything from red carpet fashion recaps and celebrity style “how-to’s,” to runway and fashion event reviews.

I’ll be doing similar things here at KittyBradshaw.com, but on a more local level. Every Thursday I’ll let you know about new store openings, sample sale deals, and which New York City stores are stocking the latest trends.
