BogHer12 Events: #NYCTweetup

So BlogHer12 weekend started for me Wednesday, August 1st.  I attended a Wine Party hosted by @dragonflytweet and @JasonPromotesU.  The Kitty Bradshaw is not a wine drinker, but when I say that @TPetito & @CellarAngels wines were some of the best wine I have ever tasted.  During the night’s festivities, we were able to sample all of their selections which included their Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir.  @Shoshi and I had such a wonderful time during the #NYCTweetup, we stayed until they kicked us out..but not b4 I grabbed a bottle loll.

The event was held at the Roger Smith Hotel, the only family owned hotel in New York.  The entire family came out and mingled with the Bloggers, they were extremely friendly.  I know that this was a media event, so protocol is to put your best face forward… but I felt genuine warmth from the owners of this hotel.  I didn’t get to check out their rooms, but their downstairs event space and bar was very ideal for holding events such as this.

I have a few things to say about the people I met during the #NYCTweetup … first off @JasonPromotesU is a huger,  lolllll. I don’t know if yall know this about me, but I am a huger… I love to give hugs.  So I don’t know if it was the wine, BUT! I got at least 2 hugs from @JasonPromotesU lmaoooo .

My new friend @DragonFlyTweet is such an amazing host… not everyone has the true gift of hosting but she is clearly IT!   @Shoshi & I were in the corner talking about boys, when  @dragonflytweet came over to us and made sure that we were ok. Kristi let us know that she was here for us if we needed anything.  She then went on to suggest what wines to try, then introduced us tot he brand reps.  When you all have a spare moment, please check out @dragonflytweet’s website: http://OrangeDragonflyBlog.com

Also during the #NYCTweetup ,  I got to meet @StephensHeather …. who is also my new Blogging sister.  Heather proved how much of an adventurous spirit she is by allowing @Shoshi and I to kidnap her and take her to one of the most magical spots in New York, Grand Central Station for dinner at Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse.  @dragonflytweet later joined us and we all formed a bond.  I truly love these ladies!!! :)

Below are event photos.  Let me know what you think :)
