In honor of the change in season, I present Autumn In New York. To be real most New Yorkers will dismiss the song because they don’t see what all the excitement is about but for the rest of us it’s a pretty amazing place to be.
Coming from California I am amazed at how the seasons change. In Southern California, we have one long season throughout the year… but here as soon as the season is up, IT’S UP! One week it’s Summer, the next Autumn and there is a serious difference. I can’t wait till the leaves change… I think that is the craziest thing to ever witness.
I wish someone would make a Harlem version of this YouTube video!

The funny thing about the leaves changing is that you don’t really notice it until one day you look up and you see this really beautiful image of multi-colored leaves everywhere.
You have to take a walk through central park one day in mid October, you’ll love it.

AroundHarlem is right… you don’t really notice until one day you look up like “oh snap… the leaves changed!” Being here in Southern New England (Connecticut, to be exact), there’s a saying. “Don’t like the weather? Wait 5 minutes, it’ll change.”
It’s cool though, perfect light leather jacket weather (since I have a bit of a collection of Timbs and leathers). Break out the cameras and get some shots of the beautiful colors.
