Mint

Mint conveniently located next to Calle Ocho with the all you can drink brunch! :)

Mint has some cute purses. The clothes are cute, but run small… too small for Kitty Bradshaw.  I have hips, ass, and breast… so my body type was foreign to Mint.  The ladies were extremely friendly,  they let my friend Monica and I rummage through the purses as long as we wanted.  My benefactor purchased yet another bag for me.. here is the pic:

Swine Flu

This is the latest outbreak to hit the states.  Please, if you have flu like symptoms do not carry your ass to work to contaminate the rest of your co-workers.  If I catch and live through the alleged Chitlin Virus… I am whooping your ass for spreading your germs, lolll.  Again, your co-workers do not want your cooties!  Also, wash your damn hands!!!!

Thank you that is all….

Sea in Williamsburg

Ok, so Sea Thai Restaurant has made me a believer that if you leave Manhattan and venture into another borough… you find really cute, well designed, delicious, and inexpensive restaurants. Sea was sooooooooo good!  Even better then the food… the design of the place is spectacular!  Its a across between a air plane/ backyard meets futuristic…. it was visually stimulating!  I loved it!!!  Everyone kept saying going into the bathroom… I went in and it felt like a air plane/ spaceship complete with TV.  You come out of your hutch/ toilet and the sink is a like a shared water fountain at a park… it is so interesting!

If you are at Sea… even if you don’t have to go to the bathroom you should go anyway just to see what its like! lolll

Essex Restaurant

Brunch that last till 8pm on Sundays??!!!  OMG this is a party girls best friend… especially when you are hung over from the night before and have family in town who want to see you before they get back on the plane to go back to their town.  You can sleep till 3pm wake up refreshed and stumble into Brunch at Essex Restaurant (free drinks with purchase of Brunch)!  Do I need to say anything in addition?!  Oh year the food was ok… on a scale of 1-10… I give it a strong 5!  Service was good… drinks were good… I could taste the liqour so thats always a plus, lolll.  Shout outs to the Pomegranate martini… very tasty!  Also, I came home and passed out in my bed the night before so I conveniently bought my dead cell phone and charger in and plugged up next to the table… ok that isn’t really something spectacular… but damn at the convenience of it all!!!  It was like they custom made this restaurant for people like me! lolll

I give Essex Restaurant grade: B+

I went to my first Gay Bar in the village!  My friend Monica and I were the only 2 females in there for the longest time.  I don’t even think they had female restrooms.  I remember telling my photographer Cha-phon Lebowitz that if I see one penis I am going to storm out… in that same breath a stripper hopped on stage with his Joe Boxer Tighty Whities and started twirking it!  WHy was he fine though?! lolll

OH EM GEE!!!!

So, I never saw penis… but I did see men who were comfortable with themselves in a relaxed setting.  I think I was the only uptight one in the room (until Spanish papi came out and did his tighty whitie dance lmaoooo).  I had a good time… we stayed there for a bit then went out on the pier and people watched with a slushy in hand. *sighs* Life was so simple of Sunday night…  It was nice to get out by the water and just sit, reflect, and engage in conversation with intelligent, mature people.

Cafeteria

Blah, Blah, and Blah… The first time I was introduced to Cafeteria Restaurant was last Sunday, April 19 about 2am.  Prior to arrival,  I took the word “Cafeteria” literally, but it was quite the opposite.  It was your typical restaurant… actually it reminded me of the Citigroup employee lounge only with dim lights.  Neither bad nor good… it’s just if you work in an employee lounge in Manhattan, then you have seen Cafeterias decor.
